Creating Commercial Video Content for WeBuyTrucks

This project was about giving WeBuyTrucks a stronger set of video content they could actually use across the business.

Rather than creating one video that looked good once and then disappeared, the aim was to capture footage that could be used across different parts of their marketing and give the brand a more professional presence online.

The brief

WeBuyTrucks wanted a number of videos created for the business, with content that could be used to explain what they do, improve their online presence and give customers a better feel for the company.

For commercial work like this, I always want to understand where the finished content is going before filming starts.

A video for a website needs to work differently from something made for Instagram or a paid advert, so knowing the end use helps shape what gets filmed and how the content is put together.

The shoot

The focus was on keeping everything clean, professional and natural to the business.

That meant capturing the people, vehicles and working environment without making everything feel overly staged.

I wanted the videos to feel polished, but still look like WeBuyTrucks rather than something that could have been filmed for any company.

We also captured different shots and angles so there was enough variety to create multiple pieces of content rather than relying on one sequence.

The result

The finished videos gave WeBuyTrucks a stronger library of professional footage to use throughout their marketing.

The client’s feedback after the project was:

That is always the part that matters most to me. The footage needs to look good, but it also needs to be useful once it leaves my editing screen.
